Messages are counted, not billed. The carrier plan on your SIM is what actually sends them, so what you pay simhook for is the routing, the receipts, the webhooks, and the dashboard.

- One messageOne recipient. A send to twenty numbers is twenty messages.
- Long textsA text the phone splits into several SMS still counts once.
- Received textsFree and uncounted on every plan.
- Failed sendsCount once the server accepts them, whether or not the phone manages to send. Scheduled sends count on the day they go out.
- Days and monthsCalendar days and months in UTC.

The full API, signed webhooks with retries, delivery receipts, dual-SIM support, scheduling, the dashboard, the TypeScript SDK, the MCP server, and the app with its updates. Limits are the only difference.
